Chery Group announced on Saturday, July 25, 2026 that its cumulative global sales have surpassed 20 million units, becoming another Chinese automaker to cross that threshold, with a third of its owners now based outside China.
The 20 millionth vehicle is the Fulwin A9 all-electric sedan, which launched the same day and shares its name with Chery's first model, introduced in 1997 — also the company's earliest export.
Chery Group exported 943,817 vehicles in the first half of 2026, up 71.5% year-on-year, underscoring the overseas expansion behind the 20-million milestone.
