BMW Group reaffirmed its target of electric vehicles reaching 50% of total sales by the end of 2030, even as H1 2026 results moved in the opposite direction.
Across BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce, EVs made up 17.7% of total deliveries in H1 2026, with the three brands selling 148,664 fully electric vehicles through June — a 14.6% year-over-year decline.
The EV share had been rising steadily before this setback, climbing from 4.1% of total BMW Group sales in 2021 to 17.9% in 2025.
