Buick began taking pre-orders for the battery-electric Electra L7 sedan in China on Friday, July 24, 2026, marking GM's latest step to advance electrification in the world's largest auto market; pricing has not been announced.
Customers who place orders by August 19 qualify for pre-order incentives, including a 1,000-yuan ($147) deposit that can offset 6,000 yuan of the purchase price.
Built on an 800-volt high-voltage platform Buick calls the "safest in the industry," the Electra L7 BEV comes standard with 6C ultra-fast charging adding 450 km of range in 10 minutes and over 700 km of total range, serving as the battery-electric counterpart to the Electra L7 EREV launched in China last September.
