Geely Auto (HKEX: 0175) and Ford Motor (NYSE: F) announced on Thursday, Jul 23, 2026, a joint venture in Valencia, Spain, to share factory capacity for producing multi-energy vehicles under both brands for the European market.
Ford will hold 66% of the new entity and Geely Auto 34%; pending regulatory approvals, the joint venture is expected to begin operations in H1 2027, with the first new vehicle rolling off the line in 2028.
