Denza, BYD's premium brand, opened pre-sales for the all-electric Z9S sedan on August 3, 2026, in three trims priced from 319,800 yuan ($47,100) to 389,800 yuan: flash-charging Premium (319,800 yuan), flash-charging Flagship (349,800 yuan), and flash-charging Performance with e3 technology (389,800 yuan).
Denza claims the Z9S delivers a 1,100-km range, the longest of any mass-produced all-electric model, surpassing the previous 1,036-km record held by its own Z9GT, and uses BYD's second-generation Blade Battery.
The Z9S comes standard with BYD's God's Eye 5.0 assisted-driving system and will compete against rivals such as the Xiaomi SU7, underscoring how Chinese EV makers are bundling long-range battery tech with in-house ADAS as a core competitive signal.
