Dongfeng Nissan's Qichen brand and ride-hailing platform Hellobike have completed delivery of their jointly developed mass-produced autonomous driving vehicle, the HR1.
The HR1 is positioned as an autonomous driving model resulting from the Qichen-Hellobike partnership, per the announcement.
The deal signals another OEM-mobility platform tie-up in China aimed at autonomous ride-hailing (Robotaxi) deployment, a pattern also seen among other automakers pairing with ride-hailing operators to commercialize AV fleets.
