Mercedes-Benz Group AG launched the all-new electric GLC SUV in China on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, the first model built on its MB.EA (Mercedes-Benz Electric Architecture) all-electric platform, offering a CLTC range of up to 703 km.
The SUV comes in three versions: the five-seat Liujin edition is officially on sale starting at 338,000 yuan ($49,700), while the five-seat Huiyin edition (from 299,900 yuan) and six-seat Xingbo edition (from 388,800 yuan) have opened for pre-sale.
The launch is a centerpiece of Mercedes' effort to revive sales in China, the world's largest EV market, pitting the electric GLC directly against the BMW iX3, Tesla Model Y and Xiaomi YU7 in the luxury electric SUV segment.
