CATL and Dalian Deta Holdings signed a strategic cooperation agreement on July 22, 2026, extending their relationship beyond battery supply into vehicle aftermarket services, vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology, battery-swapping infrastructure, and wider electric vehicle adoption.
Under the planned V2G component, parked electric vehicles could charge during periods of lower grid demand and discharge power back to the grid during peak demand, though this depends on further development of supporting infrastructure and operating mechanisms.
The agreement builds on CATL's existing role in Dalian Deta's public transport operations, where the company already supplies batteries for all of Dalian Deta's new-energy buses.

宁德时代与大连德泰控股于2026年7月22日签署战略合作协议，将双方合作从电池供应拓展至车辆后市场服务、车网互动(V2G)技术、换电基础设施及电动汽车更广泛推广。
